Thirty-three stems in a round white box: 20 roses, 5 hydrangea, 5 delphinium, 3 large tulips and gold painted leaves fanning out of the top. About 26 in across and 28 in tall with the box (65 by 70 cm).

The box is soaked before it leaves the boutique, so it needs no vase and no arranging. That makes it the one to send to an office, a hotel room or an address where nobody has time to deal with flowers.

The blue here comes from delphinium and hydrangea rather than dye, which is why the shade sits closer to grey blue than to postcard blue.

Varieties move with the market, the count, the palette and the box stay.
